We Heart Domino Magazine

On Saturday, October 18, 2008, we celebrated all things Domino:

Firstly, the publication of Domino’s much—anticipated, first—ever decorating book (as fabulous as we knew it would be), and secondly—and in our world, more importantly—our inclusion in their much—anticipated, first—ever Seattle shopping guide, featured in the November 2008 issue.

We commemorated both events with yummy food and drink, yummy music, and loads of the yummy Domino book for sale. One lucky attendee was the recipient of an ”instant design library,” made up of a selection of the latest and greatest design tomes, creating even more incentive to be here for the fun.

Shop for the Cure

On Saturday, May 10, 2008, we were honored to be a part of the fundraising efforts for our friends on Team Diane, a local group of strong, fabulous women walking in the 2008 Seattle Breast Cancer 3-Day benefitting Susan G. Komen for the Cure, in honor (and right alongside) of their friend Diane Langstraat.

Along with our friends at the wonderful online boutique Petaline.net, we offered up the latest in local fashion and jewelry amidst our new & vintage home and garden furnishings and accessories. Ten percent of our proceeds went directly to Team Diane's fundraising total for the Seattle 3-Day, providing a perfect excuse to shop our hearts out (as if we needed one).

The lovely members of Team Diane modeled spring styles from local lines Suzabelle, Out of Line, and Sabrina Love Handbags while mingling with friends and supporters, drinking delicious wine donated by Kristine and Stan Baty, and making purchases of their own to support the cause.
